Please be aware that the national data shown in the table includes pupils from the Marlborough Centre (our 65 place specialist provision for pupils with a diagnosis of an Autistic Spectrum Disorder)
These pupils can make up to 20% of our cohort, depending on the year group.
Our Centre pupils make outstanding progress but rarely achieve at a level in line with national expectations due to their significant special educational needs.
However, this means the overall reported figures are significantly depressed for both progress and attainment.
Disaggregated data is therefore shown within the table to show the Main School’s achievements independent of the Marlborough Centre. Ofsted and the Regional Schools Commisioners are both in agreement that this is how Hoo St Werburgh Primary School and the Marlborough Centre’s data should be shown.
